Woordjes leren

Woordjes leren is a vocabulary app designed for young children aged 5 to build foundational reading and language skills. The app features multiple interactive learning modes to keep children engaged as they discover new words.

Children can explore a reading board, match pictures to words and words to pictures, and practice letter placement within words. Pronunciation support helps children hear correct sound formation, building confidence in speech. Parents can record custom audio to personalize learning with family voices—grandpa, grandma, dad, and mom.

Progression is built in: as children earn stars, difficulty levels increase, encouraging them to tackle more challenging content at their own pace. The app is fully in Dutch and aligns with early primary school curricula (Group 3 in the Netherlands, Class 1 in Belgium).
